Final Four Predictions:

Cal Tech piman314
  • Always one of the best teams athletically and on defense.  Attebery will score on ath/spd alone.  Weakest spot is rebounding, with Howe only in the low 50's and Adams is a weak Center ath/spd/reb.
  • Still should be very well with piman coaching them, 22-4 at worst with a 3/4 seed.
Wisconsin Stevens Point ricosuave21
  • Brehner is a scoring machine, Gold will dish the rock, and as always some great ath/def from rico again.
  • 24-2 is worst case I don't think anyone will knock them off in conference however as Stout has too many freshmen to compete.  Undefeated regular season isn't out of the question(SOS could come into question however)
And I'm going do something a bit different for the last 2 spots.  I'm going to predict 2 USA South teams.  I think its too hard to choose between the following 3: Methodist, PBAU, and La Grange.  I think it really is just going to depend whose bracket is better and who of those 3 get 1 seeds(I think 2 will also get 1 seeds[and those 2 are probably the most likely who are going to get to the F4])  Each team has some really strong strengths and maybe 1 weakness each that could cause them to be out early.

Also think USA South reclaims conference crown with some top teams and should have enough teams go far enough to pull back the gap the SUNYAC will have from non-conf.

Overall it should be a very good season, I don't think there is a clear team or a clear handful of schools who are head and shoulders above the rest, it really should be a wide open race and I'm excited to see how it goes down.

After non-conf I might be thinking University gets a rep instead of 2 USA South teams.  Centre and Dallas both look really good, and don't sleep on Ozarks

Some really important matchups.  PBAU and La Grange play twice and both play Methodist once in the regular season.

Dallas and Centre play once as well in the regular season

Wisconsin SP, lackluster schedule could hurt I don't think conf play will be able to bring their SOS up to a respectable level, giving them a bad seed, granted where ever they land they are still a threat, it just might be harder.

USA South looks to have a sizable lead in the conf battle and should prevail.  The matchups for next season look enticing, although I think a few aren't possible due to some teams already being scheduled.
