Basic Theme
This is a 12 team progressive that advances 2 years at a time and began with the 1885/86 seasons. We are currently about to start season 2 (1887/88) and need 1 owner. Any player that is WIS eligible in either season will be available. Players that have a WIS season in both years can only be in the league once, but the owner has the option to choose which season he prefers to use.

The team was formally managed by kbees1949 and finished in 3rd place with an 88-74 record .


Here are the rules:

League Rules
1-League Format: Alt format D which is 6/6, 2 playoff teams and interleague play and balanced schedule are true.

2-League Alignment: Random the first year and the same thereafter

3-Salary Cap: None

4-Ballparks: Any park in WIS database, but all parks are exclusive. Also, multiple versions of the same park aren't allowed. For example, only one Yankee stadium may be used even though there is a Yankee I, Yankee II, and Yankee III. (Note-amended to provide that initial parks are as consistent as possible with the 1885-86 time frame).

5-League Settings: No DH, no WW, no AAA, and no live play. Trades allowed. Transaction deadline and injuries turned on.


Roster Rules
1-Keepers: No limit to number of keepers from season to season. Players not kept are returned to the player pool for the next season.

2-DL: Players without a player season in EITHER of the 2 upcoming seasons may be placed on the DL.


Future Drafts:

1-Held in the forums

2-Draft order is worst to first all rounds based on record at the 120 game mark.

3-Tiebreakers for order are as follows: Expected win %, most runs allowed, H2H record, then coin flip.

4-Draft picks may be traded up to 1 draft in advance.

In next draft, (1889/90), you will have both your own 1st rounder, but also the 1st round pick of the Detriot Yepites.
