Had real solid success using a couple players, though granted some of them are not cheap.  I'm a fan of Gagne's 2007 relief season (the best season he had in performance history was on a team of mine).  I think 2012-15 Kershaw and 2014-15 Arrieta have some potential...though they are expensive.  I've had fantastic success, especially considering his price, with Will Smith '13 at a pitcher's park...but not so much anywhere else.  I've recently been on a 2014 or 2015 Wade Davis/Dellin Betances kick, and they've been fantastic if you don't mind expensive relievers.  Zobrist '09 is one of the games best cookies.  Andrelton Simmons is an insane defender, if you like that.  He won't hit regardless of what you try though haha.  I've been fascinated with 2015 Andres Blanco as a platoon player recently, as he checks a lot of boxes that the SIM loves (and shares with many cookies).  I love Jose Fernandez more than words can say but when I picked his 2014 season in Coors he got SHELLED (even as a spot starter in pitcher's parks).  Picked his 2013 season twice and he was sub 4 era both times (and threw a no-hitter).  Mike Trout and Cabrera are both great, but I think both of them are too pricey (though some bad defensive Cabrera seasons can work).  Umm...that's all I got for now.
