Ah here we go again. Last season yours truly took home the title for the first time, and I look poised to duplicate that success this season as well. :P

Piman might be the favorite to win the title this season, disregard the exhibition results, piman always run his younger guys earlier in the season, and they were still pretty close. Expect an undefeated regular season from this team, maybe Colorado can pull the upset or an early sim can with all the young guys playing, but Cal Tech is the favorite in every game and it's not close.

La Grange is looking poised to repeat(or at least go far). The biggest thing to watch is the per development of Peter Smith, probably the biggest factor on how far La Grange can go, he grew 22 points last season, which replicated would put him at 80 giving a somewhat respectable shooter. Otherwise the guards skills of Brumbaugh will make this offense flow. A tougher non-conf than usual and a early meeting with Greensboro makes another 23-0 start a bit out of the realm of possibility. Howard Payne's zone could be a upset.

Greensboro's amazing post season success should be continued this season, close to rivaling Cal Tech as the most athletic team in the nation. Look to the big matchup with Augustana to see if ab's team is legit. Parker and Wilkins will be hard to stop both with 60+ ath and 80+ spd. Black will cause problems for opposing teams trying to stop him. 22 wins should be expected from this team in the regular season.

Originally I thought it would be a down year for the SUNYAC, but I must've missed terps's team, pretty stacked defensively, the zone can be an absolute monster with great defensive ratings. The starting guards should be able to put up enough points along with Mason while the defense will not be easy to score against. Colorado and Shennandoah well provide early season matchups to show their ability as well as the conference slate against a tough group of coaches. 20 wins should be achieved from this SUNYAC team.
My dark horse picks are 2 other USAS teams in Shenandoah and Oglethorpe. presentense needs his team to get to B+ IQ to be considered for a deep run. Shenandoah just needs to wait and let their young big man develop.
If I were to pick a NC game it would be a Cal Tech SUNY Geneseo. Cal Tech knocks off Greensboro, and La Grange doesn't develop enough per to score against Geneseo. Cal Tech provides the offensive firepower to bring home the title.
Hope you enjoyed! Have a good season!
