In Mike Squires Season 35 draft, I did what I now normally do -

1) set my draft settings
2) dumped all the prospects in Excel and used my formula to rank just the potential BLers.
3) reset the rankings with my list at the top.
4) woke up and checked who I got off those rankings and where.

I'm actually quite happy with the results. I got 8 of the 58 players I ranked. Its just that the 5th rounder was a player - not - on my list. And he's sandwiched between guys that were.

So I thought I made a mistake in the manual ranking process right?

So I went back to the prospect list and it is resorted to the way it was originally. Anyone else do something similar to what I do and notice the same thing with the post-draft prospect listing reset?

I guess from now on I'll dump my prospect list after I've done my reranks.

Its happened to me a few times with the draft and the rule 5 not sure what the issue is about it.

If you make any adjustments to your draft settings, even one like how aggressive/conservative you want to be that shouldn't affect how players are ranked, your rankings are reset to their default.  You must always do all your settings first and then your rankings last.

I did so. The settings were completely set. Then checked right before ranking last night. Then I ranked. It obviously used my ranking. Just not sure why it went back to default right after the draft.

Ah, so it used your rankings, but reset your list after the draft?  That's probably just a bug... I'd put it in the thread tzent started for bug reports.

As for the 5th rounder-- was that for some sort of positional need that you established?  Was it a pick of a totally safe guy because of your aggressiveness settings for 2-5, and then you had different settings for 6-10 and the guy on your list became eligible to be drafted again?  Just spitballing here, it could be a bug, too.
