anybody want to share their ideas of how they use the green red yellow colors in organizing their team? i was thinking of giving all first round picks one, legit internationals another, but then i remembered that first round pick probably doesnt mean much anymore.

thanks in advance

In the minors I give prospects Green, "maybe usefuls" get Yellow, expendables (tryout camp, next to get cut if I need roster space) get Reds.

Majors, I use the colors for reminders.  Green is re-sign or arb him next season; Yellow I'm undecided; Red let him walk.

I'm one of those idiots who uses advanced. Once I get more experience, I'll probably drop it. So I use it to track prospects for trades/development

For now, I use:

green - definite BLer
yellow - bench or defensive specialist
red - drop next season

Red = "old" DITRs (before the DITR enhancement update)
Orange = "new" DITRs
Green = potential MLB prospects drafted after the new scouting update

I also use notes to flag and capture info about potential MLB prospects, so in a few seasons I'll be able to re-purpose red and green once the pre-update prospects age out.

Green:  top 50 pick, over 10m IFA
Orange: top 100 pick, over 5m IFA
Red: top 150 pick
Note:  ranked players not picked in top 150
