I am traveling for work this weekend and don't think I will have internet access - at least when I am not working in the classroom. 

I don't think any drafts are scheduled and any keepers etc. I will get in when I get back on Monday. 

So if no one hears from me about a draft or scheduled event or sitemail I have not dropped off the planet, just out of communication for a few days. 

I used to sing karaoke at a local bar every Saturday night. One Saturday I had a cold and sore throat. I called the bar and asked the bartender to tell the karaoke guy that I wouldn't be there. The next week the karaoke guy said it was the first time he'd ever had someone call off sick. Your post reminded me a little of that situation.
