Yeah, I kinda want a SLB LIVE app. Phones are so advanced so how hard can it be to get the WIS simulation in an app?

Don't underestimate the time and expense of creating an app from scratch (which is what they'd have to do since the LIVE game has such an antiquated codebase). Apps are also coded in different programming languages than web applications and websites, which would likely mean they'd need to hire an entire new team just for this project, either on a contact or permanent basis.

It would be awesome to have a modern, LIVE experience with an app, but I think they should focus on the website first, now that they are finally growing and making updates again.

Actually bagchucker, I would have agreed with you 6 months ago as would many here have, but we have seen two interesting changes in the past couple of months: the new pricing system (which for some reason you don't like) and an admin. sponsored theme league using all Red Sox players ever in a live draft. 

Plus I see a LOT of new names on the Forum lately, something that was not happening for a year or so. 

Yes, things slid downhill, but at least lately there has been some movement again. Eppur si muove, as Galileo said (he didn't get tenure though).

I don't think it's fair to say "they" slacked off after "they" sold out...  FOX didn't retain Tarek for very long after they bought him out.  This site was his baby, and I don't think he ever got particularly complacent about it.

This site doesn't seem to be dying at all. There are a lot of people playing...lots of leagues. I agree with the professor--seems like a lot of new players in this game.
