What if, Whatif? Topic

Okay, okay...so I've been convinced that the new changes will help fix the game and I'm hoping to beta test as well. You guys have presented some pretty valid points and I am looking forward to it.

But...what if Whatif came to us and said, "We're going to take the top 5 customer suggestions to fix the game and implement them. This would be to help the game on all three levels and attract new customers as well." What would those 5 be? My first one would be simple, and it would help out new Coaches as well...
1. Allow new Coaches to purchase FSS in their first season.

I think D3 would be perfect if this was implemented. I know the other suggestions will be geared towards D1, which I don't play.

And yes, this is all a moot point. But I wanted to show the powers-that-be that they have a pretty damn good game here that with a few tweaks ( in a perfect world) would be top shelf. This old-timer is ready (fingers crossed) for the changes.

I'm not sure on this one, but I think the reason why that rule is in effect is to prevent current coaches from taking advantage of the $5.95 (or whatever it is) first season discount for new coaches. For example, I could create a new username, reserve a school with six schollies in the same world as my current team (taking advantage of the discount) and blow my entire recruiting budget on FSS. That way I wouldn't have to spend a dime on scouting on my main ID which would give me an unfair advantage in recruiting.

But, I could be wrong...

2. Hiring and firing process, especially at D1. If you make it to a Big 6 job there should be minimum requirements to keep your job there. Fired? You get a credit ($5?) and it's back down to D2. D2 and D3 are pretty solid as far as jobs, although guys coming in and going 12-15 in D3 and then going up a level isn't necessarily good for the game.

You're probably right, clansing. It is a big disadvantage for first-time Coaches, though. If they struggle they're less likely to pay for another season, although some kind of discounted "Starter Pack" might have helped.

But, if you're a first-time Coach there is plenty of advice on the Forums, although you can't post unless you buy a full-price season. The advice is there. Thanks for the input.

You're not wrong, that's exactly why it's like that.
