I have no issues with my team being at the top of team batting but my pitching is another story. I have seen owners who by stats have worst pitchers but get better results from them. How can I get the most out of my pitching? This will take my team to becoming more of a force in my league.

Short version: Your defense is terrible. I don't even need to look at your pitching when you have 56 errors and 44 negative plays in 80 games. But, when I look at your pitching, it would be mediocre with a league average defense(which you don't have).

Karl Wagner has no right to be on a major league roster with splits of 57/39.

Troy Cedeno and Neil Eyre are mediocre at best. Their stats are a pretty true reflection of their abilities.

You mention hitting and pitching, but have neglected the third component . . . fielding. Your fielding is league average in terms of errors and fielding percentage, but second worst in allowing 44 minus plays in 80 games. Putting a shoddy defense behind an already suspect pitching staff is a double whammy.

He's actually gotten lucky with the pitchers he's been using. Wagner's been surprisingly competent given his splits. Not great, mind you, but not the train wreck you'd expect.

Surely you can find a FA pitcher who's better than Wagner for real cheap halfway through the season. Beyond me how a guy with a vR under 40 has an ERA in the 4's.
