I picked up Penn St., Altoona in Knight with plans to turn it into a Shaka Smart "havoc" type of team. I've had a little success with FB/FCP in the past with Franklin in Iba and CSU, Los Angeles in Tark but haven't used it in a while. I was going to concentrate strictly on ATH/DEF and not put much worth into the skill categories like Rebounding, Ball-handling, etc. but I've recently read about how important speed is in FB/FCP. I was wondering if some more experienced coaches could tell me what ratings I want to aim for in Ath, Def, and Speed in both big men and guards(at D3)... I plan on going 12 deep(no RS) and a 6-0-6-0 class structure. Or if there has been a guide written to FB/FCP in the past, that would work too.

Thanks!

If you aim for 180 in combined ATH/SPD/DEF for guards you'll be in decent shape. You can actually skimp a little on DEFENSE. I think you're better off with a 90/30 (either way) than a 60/60 for offensive reasons.

For PF, I would like to see a SPEED of 40 and ath/def over 60 (not always possible).

For C, I'll go down to a 1 speed if needed but prefer to have a speed above 20.
