Message from pulldown candidate Topic

I had a coach phone call on a player in D2 while I am D3. It says "thanks for the call to chat about ***" and then tells about his offense and defense. It does not says anything about a fallback option or that he hates me. Any idea what it means when they says almost nothing.

is the player under 70 miles away? This sounds like he is immediately recruitable

He is within 70 miles. Thank you.

Yes, he's immediately available to you. Recruit him as you normally would any D3 player.

Wouldn't you then go through the pulldown steps?

No because of his location he is technically a D3 recruit

Some kids within 70 miles that show up on your D2 list (if you're playing D3) are immediately recruitable as if they were a D3 recruit. The only way to know for sure is to send a phone call. If you're a backup option then you'd treat the kid as a pull or drop down. If you get a message like the one the OP posted then you can immediately recruit the kid as if he's a D3 player.

That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification, darnoc.

Thanks for explaining that in more clarity for me Darnoc. Obviously I should have worded my response better to avoid any confusion. Sorry Pallas for not making my response clear.

You're good, man. I see the distinction in the recruit messages now. Appreciate the help.
