i need help figuring out how to beat a press. Every single season I'm top 5 to start the year and then play woefully against the press. The conference isn't great but I play a tough non con every year. Ive had a team go undefeated and lose in the 2nd round to a average press team. Last season I had one of my top 3-4 starting lineups, my senior class was very athletic, and lost in the first round to a dreadful team. This year I lost 2nd round game against a decent press team but the other coach has had way better and I lost by 20. At my previous two schools, I used to dominate press teams and now my shooting percentages suck, if I have a ath/spd/defense advantage I never dominate from the line, and I turn it over constantly regardless of tempo. Any advice (yes when I beat the press consistently it was with the same offensive and defensive systems) for how to get my groove back and make another final 4 without having to wait 5 more years?

Your team is pretty solid. It could be some sort of distro problem. It shows also that there aren't a lot of owners in your world at D2, cause you have an avg that is pretty high and it's not even a 6-6 super classes team. I checked your defeat against W. Alabama, and it's tough to say what happened there. Maybe you need to improve your rebonding. Against Wisconsin Parkside, you went -1 something, I would of gone +1. And you shot way too many threes for your talent. Against Drury, turnovers killed you. Your stamina is too low for uptempo. I think, except for the game against Wisconsin, you win against Drury and Green Mountain if you do not go uptempo. Fastbreak asks for more stamina and a deep bench already, so going uptempo is not really Wise considering you have a 75 overall ST. I'd do it at 80.

Uptempo makes you lose the ball more too and it seems to have been a problem for your team. Anyways, I really like your team. BH will help you against press and it seems you have it already, maybe it could be a bit higher. I think the W. Alabama game is a bit of a bad SIM.

I may be wrong about this but I don't care that much about the regular season if I think I have a top 3 seed team. I tend to play uptempo in 95% of regular season games so that my young guys can get mins and improve their WE's and improve more. Is that wrong thinking?
