Suggestion: [Not informed of redshirt] Wait to apply Redshirt until AFTER the transition to 3.0.
Suggestion: [Informed of redshirt] APPLY THE REDSHIRT WHILE STILL IN 2.0.

I realized this was an issue after reading this post about this guy: Steve Cook. There was also this post by hooper15c, but he may have submitted a ticket and gotten it resolved. Just to gather these threads together, note this one too. The issue seems to be that the "inform of redshirt" will be lost at the transition, but the promised starts and minutes are preserved. However, everyone should have 48 - 168 hours to apply the redshirt during 2.0 (with prior notice). If it were rejected during 2.0, just make sure to take it back off while still in 2.0. You will still have time to apply it to someone else after the rollover to 3.0.

I had an "inform of redshirt" in Smith which has just been paused.
Hopefully I got it in time!

I still was unable to redshirt the guy on my team. hasn't played a second and the redshirt option wasn't there. kinda bummed but oh well.

In which world? You have a guy redshirted in 1. Smith is still at phase where you can RS in 2.0. There used to be a limit on RS without extra seasons when you first joined at the discount rate, but I don't think that's the issue (maybe that was GD). Give more detail and I'll solve that for you.

Ah...the rule is that you may only redshirt 1 player per team. You've already redshirted James Thomas, so there is no option to redshirt anyone else.
