I'm calling shenanigans...Seriously Topic

This is to reiterate ab90's thread, because I feel like I'm taking f*cking crazy pills:

There is no F'ing way that 345 out of 384 DIII schools suddenly get filled...especially at such suspect timing as kcsundevil pointed out.

Wooden DIII, this very last bastion of success, (not to mention the TONS of ghost-ship users which renewed but never stayed after the rollover across all worlds) looks like any other feeble government that has to secure 95% of the popular vote in order to convince everyone else that it is actually legitimate.

they have nothing to prove to me

I dont think this data proves anything to any customer - nor do they need to prove that a lot of people signed up for the game in a particular cycle.

sustained marketing and cultivation of new customers does matter to game like this - but one shot shenanigans are pointless, so I doubt they did any shenanigans. Do we think WIS was trying to fool someone other than customers? Fox management? Russian hackers?

Free seasons credits expired 11/30. I don't have any idea how that filled D2 and D1 but a surge at D3 could be possible.

To be clear, I didn't call the timing suspect and I don't know why it would bother anyone.

One world was going to benefit from the credit expiry deadline, and Wooden ended up being that world. Nothing to write home about.

If anything, I'm weirded out a little that no world filled D3 entirely despite the push. I've been around long enough to remember being up past midnight to grab a team - any team - as soon as WIS opened the door.

I remember those days, It was a lot of fun back then before it became apparent how, oh let's say 'lopsided' the game was.

To be even clearer, there is no earthly reason for a duplicate thread about this non-story. The original thread is still around and is more than sufficient.
