1 Rebound and Nice Ath/DE/SP

Do you need a 20-30 rebounder at worst or can I get by without much penalty on the glass with Nishimura and Oman?

No, you don't. There are lots of things to try and target in this game, and a lot of depends on the individual make-up of your team, but never would I look at my #3 position and think, "man, I need to make sure his rebounding his at least 20-30".

I would play that kid all day, everyday at the 3 in press and never, ever think twice about it.

Where he hurts you in rebounding, he'll more than make up for it in other areas. Play him and play him a lot.

Rebounding is a stat that is underrated imo. I would balance it out if I was you.
