I am cutting someone from my Rice Squad after the season, that is for sure. Can I actually sign anyone during part 1 recruiting?

Session 1 ends before you can cut. You can definitely get someone in the second session.

I had this happen and was able to sign a lesser D1 player. Just target someone that will sign "Late" and put your token 20 AP's on them, then after you cut a player put full effort on them.

You can't cut during session one since you are actually playing games.
