There's still time for people to join Naismith before it rolls over...the job change period just started so hard to say how many will fill in on the D3 end of the spectrum. Bigger question is did any of the D3 folks move into the D2 ranks this season (and unfortunately, I didn't take count of the D2 population at the start of this past season.
Personally, I'm waiting to see what happens in Wooden, where all but 39 of the D3 teams had "human" coaches this season and 119 D2 programs are human coached. If there is a huge loss of D3 programs without an increase in the D2 traffic, that definitely will not be a good sign.
