D3 Rhodes (A+): Very High 37 %
D1 Vandy (B-): Very High 37%
D1 Illinois (A+): Very High 26%
D1 Michigan (B+): Moderate

He had a couple of smaller D1 schools offer, but they were not really in the mix. All 3 schools did jump on last cycle and almost got him.

I wonder what the effort discrepancy was between you and the D1 schools?

How much did you have invested qb?

In order for Rhodes to sign him it would have had to have been last day of signings, with a late preference. If those three were your rivals for the guy, I would say it was a good get! I assume they all offered.

He had 6 D1 offers, at least. He is a last resort for them as he'll be a good D3 player, but not as good as the guy he is replacing. I put in about:
<800 AP
1 CV
5 HV
15 min
Start

Signing preference = whenever

I only had 1 opening so its hard to accumulate...

How early was the start and the minutes? It appears they act as multpliers now which may have made those 800 AP like 1000 or something.

I would imagine the D1's came in pretty light on this guy since the D3 didn't even max out and was still on even footing with a D1 team. Or am I way overestimating the division discrepancy in recruiting credit?

I think the D1 teams had like a 3-4 times multiplier in effort.

I knew that the promises acted as multipliers for HVs, but this is news to me that they affect AP as well.

How would the multiplier of a start + 25 minutes compare to a letter grade of prestige? Not the actual recruiting action of the promises themselves, just the multiplier.

Is the multiplier for a recruit with a "wants to play" preference higher than that of a recruit without the preference, provided you offer them the same promises?
