I think I've got a pretty good team without a back-up SG. I lost the school's all-time leading scorer, who was well-rounded, so I didn't have to make decisions. For a D3 SG, assuming all else equal, what order would you list the following?

ATH
PER
SPD
BH

That's my order but I'm not sure it's right.

I can't do that. Some coaches could but all the ratings work together. Everyone says: know how many points if ATH you would trade for a point of SP. For me it depends of the other ratings. If, for DIII it's a low DE backup SG scoring option, I would rather have

45 Ath
100 SP
50 DE
80 Pe
80 BH

then

70 Ath
75 SP
50 DE
80 PE
80 BH.

The other thing is that Ath and De are so connected, it's hard to think about this. It's a really interesting question and I'm interested to see what others say.

Yeah, I didn't think it was simple so I asked. I'll list my options in a bit.

OK, here are my options. I'm intentionally ignoring DEF, LP and REB.

ATH-49, SPD-62, PER-65, BH-62, P-39
ATH-55, SPD-63, PER-42, BH-60, P-60
ATH-77, SPD-44, PER-26, BH-51, P-52
ATH-66, SPD-46, PER-64, BH-31, P-35

I think my real options are 1 and 4. 2 is probably the best SF I have so I'm reluctant to move him to SG. 3 is the weird guy who was projected as a C last season. I think he's going to be a SG next season.

Really depends on what your team looks like, and where you want scoring to come from. If you need some guard scoring from the bench, 1 is probably your best option, based solely on what you're looking at (I'd pay attention to LP and FT as well, but that's me). If you have enough scoring in other places, and you want a distributor at that position, 3 may be better utilized there.

I'm going with #1. I need a 2nd scorer off the bench and he's the best option. I also need him to start next year at PG so the work will do him good.
