Every other season or so, I get a player who threatens to leave my program because of lack of playing time. But I've never actually had one follow through.

Two questions:

1) Does division matter? Are D1 guys more likely to leave than D2 guys, and D2 more likely than D3? Or no?

2) When they do leave, when does that happen? I assume it's before RS2, but exactly when?

I just had a player leave. He sent me an email immediately after the postseason tournament ended.

I don’t know the answer to the first, but I suspect division doesn’t matter; more experienced players do expect more pt at all levels.

To the second, I think it has to be right after the season, when guys declare for EE. That’s when you start getting contacted by transfer players, and no one can cut until the night before RS2 starts.
