Between playing style preferences, and green growth. Has anyone studied this? Or noticed a trend?

For example, if a recruit has "paint offense" as a playing style preference, and is a 15 green in LP, does this add to the likelihood that he will be a guy that has more of a chance to grow 80 points in that category? (Or vice versa for "perimeter offense" preference and like a 20 green PER rating)

i'm sure there's nothing set in stone. But has anyone looked into this possibility?

I haven’t tracked that but my gut says there isn’t any correlation. Heck, there are guys that run motion in high school but have a triangle preference.

I didn't think there would be. Was just curious if anyone else thought otherwise. It doesn't really make sense for the game. It's a similar question to the previous topic we've had about whether conference strength played into recruits that did NOT have conference strength as a preference.

Also if my topic were true, it would be a cheat somewhat, in the fact that you'd KNOW that you would get high high growth out of certain players. But I thought maybe there were patterns of this that others may have noticed that I haven't.
