I'm curious if you guys read anything into this headline. It will only pop up a few times per season, and not necessarily for the highest-priced signees. Might it be a tip-off to the IFAs who had the highest true potential? Or does simmy just spit it out when there's little else noteworthy to put in the headline section?

Why?
The signing bonus doesn't matter when it posts for all to see. The system only seems to post a guy when they have star quality. I've seen guys get a guy for a steal price of only a few million and be announced as a huge signing. But only because the guy was start material. Average players don't seem to ever get posted by the system.

In fact, I signed this guy Player Profile: Orber Jacquez - Hardball Dynasty Baseball | WhatIfSports a couple of weeks ago for under $800k and he was posted by the system for all to see. Why? Because he is much better than an $800k player. The money doesn't matter when an international gets posted. Just the quality.
