Apparently the site has a rule where you are not able to post in the forums if you haven't bought a team in 2+ years. Most of the time this probably just blocks inactive users and incentivizes them to, you know, actually buy a team and play the games on the site.

However, it looks as though it can also happen to users who are successful and simply play off of reward points / playoff credits. discodemo, a frequent top owner in the WIS Championship, messaged me saying he is no longer able to post in the forums. Anyone else experienced this?

My son (justinlee_24) had the exact same thing occur and he had to send in a ticket into CS to have his posting rights reinstated.
