Astorga. Outstanding ball handling and defense.

In triangle, I’d probably use Berry at point, Astorga as SG. But it’s not a significant difference, in my mind, offensively, so I’d probably switch it up to keep Astorga on their primary scoring guard.

I would switch them depending on match-ups. Against press best bh, then put 90+ def against best scorer

For me, it depends on whether the intention is to start both (I personally would, but I don’t factor in promises, long term development, or anything like that, so there are some variables). Assuming they’re both starting, and the question is just which one plays point, from an offensive standpoint, I just handle matchups with distribution. Against a press, I’d think about bumping Astorga’s shots up, and Berry’s down; if I move them around, it’s because defensively I want Astorga on a featured scorer. In my view, triangle weighs passing more than ballhandling at the point, regardless of what defense you’re up against. But against a tough press, I’d definitely want Astorga getting more touches and shots.

Appreciate the responses. I would preferably like to have them both on the court, however I cut myself thin in regards to guard depth so they both have to play point.

Think I'll take your advice shoe, Berman against slower pace teams and Astorga against faster teams to best put his BH to use.

I think you're just rubbing it in, Kevin. lol

I'd go with the first. I didn't look at their IQ's, but I'd assume since the first was a senior that he would have a higher iq. He's the guy I want running my offense.
