So I had a draft pick from another team go unsigned and come into the free agent pool the next offseason. Turns out he can help fill a void on my BL team (he's a super low durability C that could be a decent PH/Backup option), so when my Minor League offer got rejected I offered him a BL contract. But It would only let me sign him to a 1 year deal at league minimum.

Does anyone know how the contract works after this year? Does he have two more years at league minimum? Do I have to resign him/let him walk (currently not seeing an option to negotiate LT). If I send him to the minors this year or next does he stop accruing time?
