What is the purpose behind running this offense? Are you just going for records? Hovey is doing 1.05 points/possession, which is fine, but not great. It seems highly unlikely this is your most efficient offensive gameplan vs. utlizing guys like Hayes and Tomasini more...

1.05 ppp is good, isn’t it? I’d like to see my leading guy over 1.1, but efficiency falls after that. He’s essentially your two or three top scorers in one with what I would expect as decent efficiency across the top scorers of other teams.

Hovey's shooting 54% from the field. And NJIT is dominating everyone they face. He is playing in a conference that has the best coaches in HD period (excluding myself!). He's undefeated this season, after a Final Four season and a season that ended in a NC game loss.

I'd guess that his purpose behind it is to win the title, and CRUSH everyone in his path! It's worked perfectly for a long time now. Sure the 5 turnovers per game is a lot. But I'd say it's a non factor when he's getting a zillion possessions per game, and no one on the planet can slow Hovey down. We've all tried. Trust me..... it's aggravating. Haha. His "lowest" scoring game of the season is 25!
