Will this guy be able to hit in the Bigs? Splits are so low. Does high Eye and BR compensate enough?
Any comps?

He's a solid hitting SS, but he's not a starting RF on a good team. Maybe I actually like him as a 12th position player on a big league team with that SP/BR and he's like a 700 ops 335 OBP guy

His bunt rating is terrible and he won’t get on base enough to make the speed/BR combo matter. If he were a GG caliber SS then yes, at RF/1B definitely not. He could be useful on a playoff roster as a pinch runner but that’s about it.

About .240/.320/.350 in a neutral park doesn't work unless you can really play a key defensive position. I wouldn't roster him in the regular season unless I was in a very deep rebuild. He might be a reasonable 15th position player in the playoffs in a predominantly pinch-runner role.

How this guy hits above a .650 ops is beyond me. He isn't really even a good aaa player

His Def at 1B is probably why he's an All-Star...I'm just curious, and it might not mean anything, but how many Infield Hits does he have?

He was AAA MVP in the previous season. One of the reasons I felt he should have a chance.

Play him for a few seasons and you will see that he does not belong on anyone's ml roster. The sample size is to small he will eventually play to his ratings.

If there's only one thing I could say in the player's favor, it's that he may offer proof that leagues/worlds are not "one size fits all."
Even given his second season decline, he's still outperforming his ratings, relative to my expectations.

So I have to wonder if the level of major league pitching in that world is lower than in others. I play in two worlds, and there's a marked difference between the two in what would be considered replacement level pitching. This player, a clear AAAA player, having replacement level success makes me think he's facing a lot of AAAA pitching.
