The Post War League started with the 1946 season. We will soon be entering the 1982 season, our 37th season. This is a very stable league. 6 owners have been in the league for all 36 seasons and 2 other owners were in the league for 34 seasons but dropped at the time of the transition for WIS to SportsHub

This is a 16 team league and since there were 26 major league teams in 1982 there is no shortage of players. The DH was adopted for both leagues starting in 1973.

Interested owners will be given immediate access to the league private forum, which contains complete league rules.

The team available is the Minnesota Twins, who are 79-78 with 5 games left in the 1981 season. The Twins will likely be drafting between 6th and 8th in the 16 team league. A suggested 1982 keeper list (subject to change by a new owner) for the Twins is posted below.

Need 2 Draft Picks

The Twins have a pretty strong pitching staff and are solid at C and the infield-the OF needs strengthening.

The season ends tomorrow (Thursday September 27) and I anticipate starting the 1982 draft off the clock on Friday. If we have not found a new owner by the time the Twins first round pick comes up off the clock, I will make the first round pick for the Twins. I plan on starting Round 2 ON THE CLOCK on Wednesday October 3 at which time the above preliminary keeper list will be final.
