SportsHub Wallet Topic

Today we've released the integration with the SportsHub Wallet. This allows you to share funds across all of the SportsHub sites, deposit funds at any time, and request payouts at any time. This integration also opens the door for marketing WIS to the rest of the SportsHub audience, which will hopefully bring an influx of new sports lovers into our community.

When you initiate a new purchase, the system will first apply any eligible WIS credits to it. After that, it will apply any existing Wallet balance on your account. If all of that isn't enough to cover the purchase, you'll be redirected to the Wallet system to make a payment.

Here's what's changing:
  • You can save your credit card information in the Wallet system for convenience in making purchases. This is totally optional, so you don't have to save anything if you don't want to.
  • You can pay directly using a PayPal account, as opposed to the roundabout way that we accepted Paypal previously.
  • Refunds will be sent to your Wallet balance. If you then want to refund back to your credit card, you would request a payout of your Wallet balance.
Here's what's not changing:
  • Game prices are all remaining the same.
  • There are no changes to our refund policy.
If anyone has questions, fire away. I'll monitor this thread for the next few days at least.

Marketing WIS to the rest of the SportsHub audience sure would bring a larger influx of new people, IF the players in the data base were up to date. New users are going to look at MLB and especially NBA players and think "What a joke; they don't even update players timely.". This may not be you fault, but it is certainly going to negatively effect anyone thinking of joining current WIS users.

I do wonder how Fanball and other sites on the network compete with "the other guys," but I've already paid into DraftKings as much as I want to spend money on DFS.

in any case, I just want the 17-18 NBA players. I usually want the things I already know, more and more often, than new things.

Well, the good news is that I'm now back to focusing on importing stats.

pertinent question: how much money would we have to spend for them to justify hiring another person to work on WIS?

So can a WIS gift certificate be used for any SportsHub game now?
