I’d be curious to see at what rating does someone keep him for good. For an elite team with few prospects, would it make sense to sign him now and then whenever their team ages out and they sell off/rebuild, they have an elite cheap FI for young prospects.

I have found that the loyalty rating is very unreliable. On one of my teams, I have FI with a 35 loyalty rating who has stayed with me for 6 seasons now. And I have had ones with a high loyalty rating that left after one season.

There's definitely some random factor at play which cannot be discounted. On the whole, however, I'm willing to say that the Coach Loyalty is far more bankable than, say, the Player Health rating.
