Short Notice Question Topic

I’m playing a sim who has a 17 DEF SG, and who has one of the worst RPIs in the country. My games in 2 hours. They play a 2-3. I want to put my SG in the whole game and give him all my distro. Any chance I’d risk a loss? I want to see how much he can score.

There's always a risk for loss. He won't take every shot. But i've heard (recently, actually) that there is a slight penalty for a player that takes over 50% of the shots. But I don't know how valid that is. And I don't know what 50% represents. Whole team? Whole game? Just the players on the floor? Im not sure

Alright. If I run him fast paced and we both play zone will he be super drained?

Edit- assuming he plays the whole game.

All I can tell you is that if you play him the whole game and give him a bunch of shots, he won't be very efficient.

No matter what you decide, he's probably not scoring more than 40 points.

I doubt you'll lose, but wouldn't say it's a 100% sure thing, especially if the other team starts hitting 3's, like a SIM team can occasionally do.

Haha, thanks for this.

The high stamina rating more than likely contributed to his 63 point game.

I was right on the part of him not being very efficient though. Probably nothing to brag about considering the average defensive ratings for the 4 guards that rotated in and out was about 15 and it was against a 2-3 zone.

It’s players on the floor.

there is a penalty but it isn’t massive.

In your next meeting, you should keep that lineup the same, but give Bohner all the distribution, just to see what the difference is. A perimeter focused 3 might be more efficient than a 2 against a 2-3. But probably pretty similar.

If I play another team this bad then I’ll do that!

He shot 36% from 3 and all his shots from 1 were 3-pointers. Not totally inefficient.
