What's the most unlucky season you've ever had?
I have a team right now that has lost 10 games by either 6 points or less or in OT. 9 of them by 4 points or less. All of these games could have gone either way. One of the games was lost with 5 traveling calls in a row.
That sucks. I had a couple of frustrating seasons similar to yours, but not to that extreme. I kept losing one possession games while shooting 58% from the line with a good FT-rated team.
Interesting topic... both of my teams, Naismith Georgetown in particular, were young, and their IQ's were in the B's. Maybe there is a late-game factor that rewards older players.
That late game factor that you mentioned, is the IQ. Higher IQs definitely help in late game situations. All situations really. But that's just a byproduct of being an upperclassman. Not old!

I'm starting to get some grays in my goatee. But I haven't noticed any players on my teams dealing with that yet! At least not in their profile pics.
