I am hoping that tenured owners of HBD will reply to this and share their thoughts.

Is World jumping seen as negative?

What would be your strict definition of a World Jumper? Somebody with low average tenure across the Worlds in which he participates? If so, what would be considered a low average?

Somebody who can leap tall buildings in a single bound?

No one makes it on their first try.

There's a difference in what you're describing and being a frequent replacement owner, and it's hard to tell from a resume.
I always pick up a team when I can but it might look like I'm trying to get into every world at least one time.

Bumping your overall record by taking over great teams may seem like a good strategy, but tenured owners may see through it if your average tenure in a World is low.

A tenured owner recently told me that unless you have a 20+ season track record (an entire player cycle) within the same organization, he is not going to be impressed with your overall record. He said any owner can take over a team loaded with talent then jump ship at the first sign of trouble.

I am wondering what defines low tenure? If someone has a 62 percent overall winning record, but has an average tenure of less than five seasons within the Worlds he plays in, should I be less impressed with his record? What would be considered too low to consider?

To me, a world jumper is someone who only stays in a world for a season or two. Usually the owner puts up a good record, then bolts, but leaving a trace of not maintaining some part of the franchise.
