The Post War League started with the 1946 season. We will soon be entering the 1988 season, our 43rd season. This is a very stable 16 team league. 7 owners have been in the league for all 42 seasons and 2 other owners were in the league for 34 seasons but dropped at the time of the transition from WIS to SportsHub. The departing owner has been in the league for 23 seasons, during which time he won 2 World Series and had 8 Division Titles.

This is a 16 team league and since there were 26 major league teams in 1984 there is no shortage of players. The DH was adopted for both leagues starting in 1973.

The team available is the New York Highlanders in the AL East Division. With 46 games left in the 1987 season, the Highlanders have a record of 58-58.As a result of a trade, the Highlanders have 2 2nd round draft picks in 1988 (OF Dwayne Murphy was traded during the 1987 season to the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks for C Mike Lavalliere and Philadelphia's 2nd round pick in 1988).
