Is it just me or is this a weird draft so far? So many names seem like they are being picked far ahead of where they usually are, or at least that is what it seems to me.

Ok Dipped, let's go. Maybe we could start with why you have determined that this is " Quite a one-sided deal".

BTW, congrats on winning the championship. Quite a comeback from when you quit the league because we refused to ban all trading.

Just for the sake of argument, which of these trades is more lopsided and why?

148, 244, 292, 340 & 388 for 188, 236, 284, 332 & 380

62, 350 & 371 for 102, 156 & 235

IDC but the 148 one is because the price the trader is paying for 62 is greater than the price the trader is paying for 148. The other swaps are 8 slots away and basically meaningless.

I'm just gonna weigh in here, since I have apparently been the one who has been "fleeced". I KNEW I was dropping a rounds worth of spots, but I personally LOVE back to back drafting spots! kelly made that possible for me to draft back to back in a number of rounds, which is invaluable to me, and a side benefit that no one is discussing. To me, this trade was worthwhile, and I don't feel "taken advantage of" by one iota! Remember, there are two sides of a trade, and the value is NOT always in the numbers!

And thanks for the congrats kelly - you'll be pleased to learn that the final pick that I spent extra time "agonizing over" just to make sure I got the perfect player - Fred Holdsworth - got the win in the clinching game of the WS. Funny thing is, I can't find that post you made at the end of draft 16 in which you mocked me for the late pick. It seems to have disappeared...

I had a World Series win against amerk where (a player yet to be drafted) hit a three run home run after amerk dinged me for choosing him way too soon. I'll be sure not to publicly criticize any of your picks in the future.

That post had nothing to do with Fred (a fine gentleman and scholar) , it was more out of frustration that the pick hadn't been posted for over a day, so I couldn't close up the draft list and begin to reset my scripts to prep for the next draft (which still takes quite an effort). I removed it before you posted the pick, long before Fred's play-off heroics.

I get that - we’re good. Every now and then I like to see some spice in this draft. Was a little disappointed I didn’t get more of a rant out of amerk though TBH.
