It occurred to me that I’ve never seen a double switch. I’m in NL with aggressive d-switch setting but I can’t recall having seen it happen.anyone have a box score showing one?

I don't have a box score, but I have seen it.

My pitchers always hit 9th and I have RP leading off innings sometimes. I’m going to declare SIMmy incapable until someone proves me wrong.

Note Harden relieves in the 6th and bats 2nd in the bottom of the inning. I carry 11 pitchers and have a lot of flexible defensive players. Do you have any insight into what may be constraining the manager at that point?

Do you have your defensive replacement settings all set up and ready to go? Because I run aggressive double switch and it works for me

I have noticed that if you have your best available reliever in the game and he has not hit his pitch limit, simmy will let him hit. It does get frustrating at times when you're trailing and need to score runs. I'm not sure if there is a way to fix that.

My Defensive replacements are set, 4-5 deep in most places.

The point of the double switch is that they're 7-8 spots away in the order when they come in, so unless there's a big offensive inning, they're going to be gassed by then anyway.

My manager finally did a double switch. Waited til playoffs and it wasn’t really necessary at the time. Oh well.

Lol. He probably just did it to be a smart *** because the owner had been hounding him all season about doing them when he really didn't want to.

The mechanics of this all is a wonder to behold .... It seems though to be fair to the algorithm or engine that it would be limited by how many Position Players are on the 25 man roster and what position they play ... And now I see another reason to look for those at least say 10-12 FIELD Rating Utility players who play every position and maybe are SPEED "85" as well ... I could spend all day in my retirement thinking about this and Drafting Teams with the 20 or so League Entries I have purchased with each one focusing on say for instance RC and Seca etcetra ...

Dont get me wrong i could use all the help i could get but the learning process of not only being a manager but the idiosyncrasies of the splendid algorith engine are astounding ... If some one could possibly tell me for instance how some teams have such consistent Pitching wheras i have had more or less ten teams now and it seems to be hit and miss and also the Fatigue and rest factor for the Pitchers seems to be distinctly different in each Open League i have had ...

My manager does double switches fairly often...PR not so much.
