Replacement owner for 1944 Draft - draft soon Topic

Hi we need a new owner to take over the Pittsburgh Keystone team (feel free to change nickname) for the upcoming 1944 draft. Team looks fairly stacked to me, with stars Bob Feller, Joe Medwick, Pete Reiser and Whitey Kurowski. They may have to wait for all their players to return from the war to peak, but in the weak seasons 1944 and 1945 I think they are a contender.

We are a 12 team league, which started in 1920. This is our 25th season. We have a good mix of veteran and new owners. Trades are encouraged. There are 2 x 6 team divisions, with the winners playing each other. WIS generated AAA players supplements allowed. There is no DH (its 1944!) and we try to stay historically accurate (eg. you must play in stadium your team used that season). One note - to keep teams from hoarding all the good players, we have a 20 player maximum keeper rule. I will though send out a vote if that should be waived until the War year players return. So join us and you get to vote!

I think I’d like to take a crack at this era. I’ll take Detroit if you’ll have me.
