The 1980 Team Icon League needs one new owner for the 1980 Season. We are almost ready to begin the draft as soon as the last few rosters are posted. The Mets finished at 81-81 in 1979 and will draft 11th in the 1980 Draft. The basic premise of the league is that you can only draft or trade for players who played for your team at some point in their career. The Mets roster before cuts is below. The 1980 Draft has guys like Hubie Brooks, Tom Herr, Wally Backman and others available to the Mets. Since each team has a limited pool of players trading is hot and heavy to get ahead of the teams that are trying to get the same guys as you are.
