Draft picks and signing B and A type FA Topic

I’m trying to get this straight. If my team is drafting 1-15, and sign a A or B FA, I lose that pick to the former team or no?

If you sign a type A and you have pick 1-16, you lose your second round pick.

If you have pick 17-32 and sign a type A, you lose that pick.

If you sign a type B player, you do not lose anything, the team losing the player to free agency receives a supplemental pick.
