Jumping from D3 to D2 Topic

This is a really broad question -- but any input would help.

I have been played about 30 seasons in various worlds at the D3 level and finally decided to make the jump to D2. What are some things that are different between the two levels that I should be mindful of? Any knowledge is helpful.

Biggest difference is you get more scouting money!

There's not a big difference between D3 and D2, really, other than more scouting and recruiting money, like mully said. If you've had success at D3, you'll probably have success at D2.

D1, on the other hand, is really its own game.

I believe that all 3 levels are their own game. But I do agree that D2 and D3 are more similarly related.

To answer the question, D2 has more budget for scouting and recruiting. It has more options you can control in the recruiting department than D3 does. You can reach up a lil higher. Different recruiting strategies. Just things like that.

I would say recruiting D2 players at D2 is more of a viable strategy than recruiting D3 players in D3.

I definitely agree with this.

I think the biggest difference is the level of competition is much higher at D2 than D3. There are definitely some good coaches at D3 but D2 has higher populations and in general, more experienced coaches. So it's more of a challenge in my opinion.

Also, DII has fewer schools and more human coaches than DIII - the DII challenge is higher, but it's significantly more fun and interactive as well.
