Recruiting Preference: Strong Defense Topic

Do we know how the strong defense (and for that matter perimeter and post offense) recruiting preferences are calculated resulting in Very Good/Goods for your team?

I'm partially wondering if running a slow tempo makes it more likely to be very good in the Defense preference or if it's based on points per possession or something like that.

Thanks.

Strong defense is based on opponents’ points per possession.

Perimeter offense is 3FGA/FGA; I’ve been told paint offense is simply inverse of that using another set of parameters, which would be enormously dumb if true, though I’ve never seen that verified by developers, so grain of salt. It is probably safe to assume with paint offense, the more non-3 FGA, the better.

The poster above gave you the link but I have different results on when I receive a "GOOD" rating with recruits using the below formula points per possession (PPP)...
Possessions Per Game formula
(FGA + (0.42 * FTA) - OFF REB + TO) / Games Played
Then simply take the points your team has given up on defense and divide that number by the number the formula above gives you.

For a "GOOD" rating with recruits I have a pretty good finger that anything less than 0.952 pts/poss will get you there. I was hovering around the good rating this season and kept looking to see where I was and 0.952 seems to be the number to me.

Also, for the "GOOD" rating with recruits on the "Fast Tempo" preference seems to be anything greater than 73ish possessions per game. I tend to play at a fast tempo for all three sections of the team game plan screen while running a Flex offense and Man to Man defense and have never gotten to a "good" rating at this preference. Closest I got was 72.6 poss/gm. So, you'd basically need to play at least a fast break offense or a press defense to get you there.

As for the "Perimeter Offense" preference, 36.3% of my shots are threes in this season and I'm at a "GOOD" rating in my recruiting preference. Not sure what the threshold is or how low that percentage needs to be for the "Paint Offense" preference.

Here's my data (based on using the 0.44 constant which I don't think matters much as it dictates the boundaries) I've collected since HD 3.0 began:
Paint Perimeter Defense
Very Good 20% or lower over 42.56% 81.68% or lower
Good 20.1% to 27.27% 35.39% to 42.31% 95.11% to 82.03%
Neutral 27.28% to 38.08% 28.99% to 35.37% 108.82% to 95.14%
Bad 38.12% to 53.19% 23.18% to 28.99% 126.15% to 114.32%
Very Bad over 55.05% 23.16% or lower over ?%
