Arbitration question: I have a player asking for way more than his value in arbitration #p9787168Freddy Ball (3B)#p He has options left and my question is: if I demote him, will he still go to arbitration automatically? Or will he go back to a major league minimum salary? Thx

You'll still have to go to arb with him. You have to release him to avoid arbitration.

How much does he want? He's a decently average starting 2B...
