Am at UNC Asheville in Iba. Our first recruiting period just ended, and there was a player we were in the lead for. Accessed the recruiting page and found he had signed elsewhere, and there was a "Sorry Coach" note from him. But when I checked the "considering" page, there was a yellow line through UNC Asheville, which heretofore has meant the recruit had signed with the school outlined in yellow. Also said 61-39, since they always give the %. So there was a conflict between the yellow line and his signing with another school. Hopefully the staff monitors the forum, because this suggests a software problem. Not asking the staff for an intervention; strange stuff happens in Version 3. Just calling their attention to, perhaps, a software problem.
Many have already noted a problem with the job change software. "Qualified" has vanished, at least at D1. The three remaining are "Keep looking", "Not Qualified" and "Step Backwards", and it was explained to me by our commissioner that "step backwards" did not necessarily mean a bad thing. So if you want to move to a bigger program, you have to wait until that program founders and becomes a "step backwards"? Software tends to deteriorate over time, and not sure how capable the programmers our newish owners have devoted to the Whatif software are.

but "qualified" is what EVERY D1 team is listed as for me. As a longtime D2 coach. So that's completely normal (unless you're seeing thru D1 eyes only. If that's the case, I'm not 100% sure the terminology)

Yeah, I should have noted I see Qualified rarely when I'm at D1 looking for other D1 gigs.

If they get that .NET Enginner maybe that will halp.

Have noted in the past that when I was in the hunt and lost, the line went through the team that won, along with the percentages. Sometimes my team had a 60-40 lead in the percentages, or more, and lost. The yellowish line would be through the winning school, along with my edge in percentages. That's version 3.

In a couple of cases, the prestige of a "step backward" team was higher than mine (my B- compared to B or my B compared to a B+). Invariably, that team had experienced a bad year and was due to be downgraded. Always check the job market even if I have no intention of leaving and it has been a couple of Real Years since I saw a "qualified".
Have no idea what a .net engineer is, or whether they are contemplating getting one, but if they don't repair or revamp, the software will deteriorate further. What software does.

just fyi a .net engineer is basically a programmer in the .net framework, the 'engineer' part suggesting they want a programmer who can solve problems, not just a code monkey. which is a little bit of an oxymoron because it is .net, but what can you do! .net is basically microsoft's version of java, loosely - its a framework for developing software. .net is one of the more common things software is developed in, especially windows client software

On the Considering page, the yellow line always goes through your team, not the winner. It's a visual cue to help you see where you stand, especially useful when 30 schools are on a kid.

yeah, that yellow highlighter bar on the considering page is a "this is you" banner not a "winner" banner.

Once at a certain level in D1, there are very few/almost none Qualified listings; they are keep looking or step backwards jobs.

You might be thinking of the second yellow line at the top of the considering list that says "This recruit has signed with Monsters U." or whatever. But your school will still be highlighted in the effort list.

If anyone has a counter-example, I'd welcome being corrected with a screen shot.
