If a player is going to transfer, should you have an email from him immediately on the morning after the national title game? Or does it sometimes not happen until a couple of cycles after that?

I have a player who was threatening to transfer, and I wish he would because I could use the extra recruiting assets. I thought sure he would go, as he started for Coach AI as a freshman and now has had two straight years riding the bench since I became coach because he is horrible. But he has not transferred yet, so I am hoping that this is spread over several cycles.

If you didn’t recruit him you can cut him and get the recruiting money anyway.

Even if it is two seasons later? Did not know this.

Yes, you can cut players signed by sim AI, and you’ll get resources for them in the second session.
