If a soph or junior leaves because of playing time issues, do I get budget $$?

Not someone with a promise, just a knucklehead who doesnt deserve the minutes.

Does this happen anymore? I know they still complain, but I’ve never heard of them actually leaving since 3.0 was rolled out.

I dont know - I do have a guy I am HOPING will decide to leave.

I have long suggested the addition of a dropdown menu of tactics to ENCOURAGE guys to leave

- inform player his minutes will not increase
- inform player his minutes will not increase next season
- assign player responsibility for team laundry
- date player's mom and or girlfriend

yeah, you get full money if a player leaves over playing time without a promise.

however i've forgotten the other part. do you only get half money for a broken promise now? also, i know you get full money for a cut player if you didn't recruit them. if you did recruit them, is it 0 or something else?

Yeah, it is 0 if you cut someone you recruited. And you don't get the extra AP either if I remember correctly.

just learned the AP part the hard way so can confirm, no extra AP for players that you signed and then you cut.

If you are hoping he will leave, he will DEFINITELY stay. I’ve never seen a coach come back and report the scrub actually leaving...
