The Hangover League, one of the oldest and best progressives out there, has an opening for an owner for the 1993 season -- which will be our League's 48th -- and beyond.
The league operates under a simple structure. Draft order is determined by W-L record at the end of the season, with a wins floor applied to the top four draft spots. Rosters consist of 25 real time players, with a set of older era scrubs available as AAA. Draft picks may be traded one draft cycle ahead.
The league follows MLB historical expansion, format and ballpark availability. We started with 16 teams in the 1946 season and are growing to 28 teams for our upcoming 1993 season, with the addition of Florida and Colorado.
We find ourselves needing an owner to take on the Florida expansion franchise. If you'd like to take on a challenge, progressive league expansion franchises certainly offer that.
We'll start our expansion draft on the weekend of the 19th. You'll select fifteen players in that draft, the rest of your roster coming from the rookie/free agent draft after that.
What do you say? Looking for a challenge?
