This site insecure message on log in Topic

Is anyone else seeing a notice when you log in here that the site uses an insecure connection and so our information can be seen by others?

This has only happened today after a Microsoft Windows 10 update yesterday on my computer.

I would not be concerned, except that all of us have credit card data here.

Thoughts from anyone who knows more about how networks work?

Thanks.

Yes, I'm seeing that too. Was just going to create a post about it!

I logged out, deleted the old bookmark, logged back in with the new bookmark, and still get the unsecured error message.

I've got my 11 year old laptop with Windows 7 on it, so no worries here!

Hey sorry I missed this thread, it is a Chrome only issue and has to do with http versus https, we have two known instances of redirects to http, the team is meeting tomorrow morning to talk through how to fix the issue.

If you use any browser but Chrome (Edge, IE, Firefox, Safari, etc) you should get the warning.

Thanks

Yeah long story short, it was a chrome bug, they fixed it. To take our ownership, chrome didn't like the way we handled a redirect between http/https (which is technical secure) because we are an older code base.

If we change anything there will be posts going forward about what we changed.

Thanks
