I've been debating this all season and still can't figure out what works best. On a team lacking great passing who would you run at point, player A is your traditional assist point guard by a wide margin, however is a liability on def and offers little to no scoring. Player B is a plus defender and has the athleticism to get to the rim, but gets turned over by quick guards. I think the question comes down to how much more does the game value defense vs offense, I'm leaning towards Player B and running slow downs to limit number of possessions.
