Sorry for blowing up the boards lately but have a lot of quick questions...for green PE potential, are guards more likely than SF/PF/C to hit the super growth or are the positions all equal as it relates to high high PE growth? Thanks in advance.

It’s more common, in general, to see guards with the high perimeter scoring attributes, like it’s more common to see PF/C with high LP. So naturally we can assume green perimeter is more likely to have massive growth potential, among those starting in the 40-50 range or under, when we see them occur in guards than in PF/C. SF are wildcards. They can be all over the place.

One thing I do notice is initial growth of any attribute that is very low (ie around 10-15 or lower) is slow .. i don't know the cut off point .. maybe 15(ish) .. anything lower than that, the growth starts slow and ramps up after exceeding some point. This seems true regardless of the potential. Maybe someone has actually done a data study?

I've had some pretty good success with guards developing PE skills. I have a guard who started out as a 23 PE and is currently 85 and still black. If my memory is correct from when he turned blue, he should be 97-99 when he's done. (assuming I'm able to get him maxed out).

Another guy on the same team started out at 43 and is going to finish out at 98. So there can be, but LP does seem to have a higher % of larger increases in scoring skill.

You're correct, Hughes. Growth is mostly on a bell curve. It's not as noticeable when the WE is really high. But when the WE is sub 40 it's more easily recognizable.
